BR560 - An Autumn Break and Birthday Celebrations

We have some family members with a villa in Frigiliana so know it quite well. As I was celebrating a significant birthday, we decided to rent a villa rather than previous apartments and this property was ideal, having three bedrooms all with en suites. The villa is excellently finished sitting in a very well maintained and comfortable location with a good sized swimming pool and terrace. This has good quality furniture, sunshades and barbecue. Inside, there is plenty of space with a large lounge, kitchen and dining room. Everything you need is there. We had no trouble finding the villa because we already knew the area but I think newcomers would be ok. There is an excellent roomy and level parking area accessed through an electronic gateway but the access road is quite steep and narrow and I found driving at an angle through the gate a bit tricky but that was largely due to me worrying about scratching the hire car especially as I am not fond of automatic gearboxes. My local family members simply breezed in with their own cars. We were met at the villa by the excellent Donna who made sure that everything was ok for us. She left us alone after that but we knew that if we needed anything she and Derek were easily accessible on site. The fact that they left me a birthday card (and cake in the fridge!!) was sweet and greatly appreciated. We didn't really make full use of the villa as we were only there for a five nights visit and generally ate out with family and friends but everyone agreed that it was excellent and deserved a five star rating. There was one slight potential drawback, though not for us at this time of year, and that was the apparent absence of air conditioning. We don't like excessive heat so wouldn't come in the summer but I was surprised that such a high quality villa has central heating but apparently no air con. However, we had an excellent and enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend this facility.

BR560 - Tranquility, luxury and space

Well quipped large villa with three ensuite bedrooms, and lots of space both inside and outside. Impeccably clean, and well appointed between Nerja and Fragiliana. Spacious outside pool overlooking the coast with plenty of room for sunbathing. Ideal for quite, peaceful long or short break, owner Michelle always on hand for friendly advice. A great experience all round.
